Living in Maryland

It's been a very long time since I sat down to use this blog, but then again the last 14 months have been a whirlwind. We have been given many assignments(I think 4-5 to be exact) and all have been taken due to EFMP saying they couldn't meet our needs. Last summer we were told that we could go to one base and one base only. Eglin AFB, FL. Andrew and I were not exactly thrilled as this meant he would be flying with Special Operations and never home. Weeks before our 6th blessing arrived we were told we could go to Andrews AFB. On September 18th, the Lord blessed us with our second daughter Mariann Virginia Yturaldi. She was 8 lbs 5 oz and 21-22 inches long. A month later Andrew flew out to Andrews AFB to interview for the job as a standard procedure. We put our house back on the market right before Thanksgiving and it sold right after Christmas. In December Andrew turned "7" and Joshua turned "5". Andrew and I celebrated "12" years of marriage. Of course last, but not least was the celebration of Jesus' Birthday. The kids had 2 weeks off for break and had fun making lots of arts and crafts. They made paper chains, we read Advent stories, and had lots of hot chocolate as TX this year was rather cold compared to other winters(normal temps are about 50-60). We sold the house and closed on it in February and traveled from TX to MD. We were blessed to miss the BIG snow and stayed one night in Little Rock, AR, then 2 days and 3 nights in Pigeon Forge, TN. Loved it there. We were able to see the "Dixie Stampede" show, as well as the "Blackbear Jamboree." Dinner shows are a lot of fun and the food is great too! One other place we enjoyed was "Wonderworks." I will add in some photos in my next post. It's past midnight and I am thinking baby girl will be up to eat in an hour or so. Night all : )
